Detroit, MI – October 2025 – House of Dank (H.O.D.), Michigan’s leading cannabis retailer, is proud to announce a series of seasonal giveback campaigns designed to uplift and support the communities it serves. This fall, H.O.D. has rolled out several charitable initiatives including a Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon Fundraiser, its Annual Turkey Drive, Canned Food Collection and Winter Clothing Drive. Together, these efforts reflect the company’s continued commitment to making a meaningful impact in Michigan.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month – D.R.F. Pink Ribbon Fundraiser
Throughout October, all House of Dank locations sold pink ribbons for $5 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Dianna Rasha Foundation, which provides resources and support to breast cancer patients and their families. Over the years, H.O.D. has donated tens of thousands of dollars to this foundation, and this year’s campaign continued that tradition of care and advocacy.
Annual Turkey Drive and Canned Food Collection
As the season of giving is upon us, House of Dank will once again host its Annual Turkey Drive on November 25th. Free turkeys will be available while supplies last, no purchase necessary at most H.O.D. locations. In conjunction with this effort, all locations will also be running the Joint Efforts Canned Food Drive to collect non-perishable food items to help stock local food pantries now until November 24th. These drives provide essential meals and support to families in need, ensuring that no one goes without a holiday dinner.
Ending the Year off Warm
New to the House of Dank giving traditions is the Winter Clothing Drive that will take place from November 25th to December 22nd. H.O.D. is asking for NEW winter clothing, with tags, to be dropped off at any H.O.D. location. All clothing will be donated to local charities and homeless shelters in communities where retail locations reside. Winter coats, snow pants, boots, hats, gloves and other warm weather clothing are encouraged to be donated. House of Dank will match every clothing item donated. More information will follow.
A Continued Tradition of Giving Back
House of Dank’s charitable efforts extend beyond these seasonal campaigns. Over the past 10 years, H.O.D. has partnered with local organizations, hosted fundraisers, and mobilized its customers to give back. Whether it’s raising awareness for specific causes, celebrating community through events, or supporting families during the holidays, H.O.D. continues to make giving back part of its company culture.
“At House of Dank, our mission goes beyond cannabis,” said Owner of House of Dank, Marvin Jamo. “We believe in being there for our communities, especially during times of need. These giveback campaigns are one of the many ways we bring people together to make a positive difference each and every year.”
