H.O.D. x Good Time Ballot Drive – We are teaming up with Michigan Justice Advocacy in their effort for Criminal Justice Reform! We will be collecting signatures for the “Good Time” policy in order to get it on the Michigan ballot in 2024. The Good Time policy aims to reduce sentences for inmates who display good behavior as well as reductions to state minimum & maximum sentences. As state minimum sentences outpace the national average we’ve seen no reductions in crime showing that being tough on crime doesn’t equate to greater public safety while two-thirds of the nation has already enacted incentive based rehabilitation efforts like the Good Time policy and have shown a reduction in recidivism rates.
